October 2024:

I'm on a waiting list for autism assessment. Only on vanishingly rare occasions do I set out to deliberately annoy someone. However, I am pretty poor at 'reading the room'. Please think 'oh it's greenwoodside being dumb as a drunk spaniel again' rather than ascribing any malice to my intentions if I miss an obvious social cue/convention.

Anyway, am very busy with full-time job plus demanding evening course, so frankly if you do see me on Dreamwidth, you should probably order me off to go and do some more homework.

I originally created this account to practise my Welsh, but I haven't done a lot of that recently.

I do read quite a few Dreamwidth accounts avidly, and have for years. I hope it doesn't bug anyone too much if I occasionally parachute in with a comment without prior introductions: I'm a mild-mannered nerdy person without the stamina to keep my own blog, and I've probably popped up because something you've said resonated strongly with me in some respect.

Once upon a time, I kept a LiveJournal or two. I remember how they worked, but features specific to Dreamwidth are a bit beyond me. So sorry if there's something really obvious netiquette-wise I should be doing that I'm not.
